Typical HMD: the heat is changed by adding or removing a coal, or leaning one on the edge — it works, but it's fiddly. Foil: fewer coals or moving them to the edge helps a little, but it's unforgiving.

Do I still need foil?
No. Heat's double bottom replaces aluminium foil completely — just place your coals inside and put Heat on the bowl.
Will it fit my bowl?
Heat fits most bowls on the market. The flexible silicone rubber base adapts to the bowl and grips it firmly, so the HMD doesn't fall.
How do I adjust the heat?
Raise or lower the coal plate to change how close the coals sit to the bowl, and open or close the lid — partially or fully — for extra control.
How long do the coals last?
The locking lid keeps the coals going longer. Venues using Heat run sessions of up to 2 hours without changing coals — depending on the coals, bowl and packing.
Can I touch it during the session?
Yes, the silicone parts are heat-resistant and insulate from high temperatures. Heat sensitivity differs from person to person, so handle it carefully and feel the temperature before gripping fully.
What makes the design different?
